♫ “I found my thrill…” ♫
Some songs become permanently attached to a character.
For Richie Cunningham on Happy Days, it was “Blueberry Hill.”
Long before streaming playlists and algorithm-driven soundtracks, Richie’s favorite song became one of those tiny television details audiences remembered forever—sweet, earnest, and just a little dreamy, much like Richie himself. Even now, hearing Fats Domino sing those opening notes instantly calls up memories of sock hops, leather jackets, Arnold’s Drive-In, and one of television’s most beloved friend groups.
So for this edition of Retro TV Diner, we turned that musical nostalgia into dessert.

This “Blueberry Hill” Lush is cool, creamy, and layered with blueberry filling, fluffy whipped topping, and a buttery graham cracker crust—the sort of make-ahead dessert that feels right at home at a family gathering, a church supper, or a retro TV marathon on the couch.
And honestly? It tastes like summer.
Whether you grew up watching Happy Days during its original run or discovered it years later in reruns, there’s something comforting about revisiting the world of Richie, Potsie, Ralph Malph, and the Fonz. The show captured a version of Americana that felt hopeful, warmhearted, and uncomplicated—and this dessert leans right into that same spirit.
So cue up “Blueberry Hill,” grab a spoon, and enjoy a little taste of nostalgia.
